Join the Lincoln Parish Special Education Advisory Committee!
The Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) for Lincoln Parish School District is now accepting applications for new members!
We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students with disabilities. The SEAC plays a crucial role in advising the school district on matters related to special education services, ensuring that our district is providing the best possible support to all students.
What Does the SEAC Do?
Provides input on policies and procedures for special education programs
Advocates for students with disabilities and their families
Supports the development of initiatives that promote inclusion and equity
Assists with reviewing and improving the district’s special education services
Who Should Apply?
Parents/guardians of students with disabilities
Educators and staff members with experience in special education
Community members with a passion for advocating for students with diverse needs
Individuals with expertise in areas like law, health, or social services
