Parents, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back! We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning. I wanted to remind everyone that construction has started in our office. We will have a temporary office during construction on the side of the building closest to the cafeteria. You will see the signs designating the office. There will also be no parking in the office parking lot until construction is complete. You will need to park in the carline area if you are coming to school. Also, we ask that no one parks in the bus lane after 2:45. If you need to access the office for any reason after 2:45, please park on Walker Road and walk in or you can park in the back parking lot and walk around. We appreciate your patience during the inconvenience of construction. It will be worth in when it's complete.

Lincoln Parish Schools announced today that ALL Lincoln Parish Schools and the Central Office will be closing for Christmas break at 4:00pm on Wednesday, Dec. 20. We will not have the 1/2 day of school on Thursday.

We are excited to have 1st Grade parents on campus for Christmas songs and stem activities. Our office is under construction so we ask that all parents park along the carline area on the right side of the boulevard or on Walker Road also on the right side(playground side) of the road with the flow of traffic. Please do not park on both sides of Walker Road. We will begin at 8:30. See you soon!

Tomorrow is Christmas lunch with our PreK and 3rd grade parents. We are excited to have our guests. Just to let you know, our office area is under construction so we ask that you park down our carline road on the right side of the road and if needed on the right side of Walker Road(next to the playground fence) going with the flow of traffic. Please do not park on both sides of Walker Road.

Parents, This Thursday, December 7th is school picture retakes. If your child was NOT here on the original picture date of October 27th, they will have pictures taken on Thursday, December 7th. I will send an order form home with these students and I am attaching an order form. Pictures from the October 27th date will be going home today, if you would like these retaken please send the original pictures back on Thursday. https://5il.co/2a5gu

Tonight's the night, CES Fall Carnival!! Carnival hours are 5:00-7:00pm. We have parking in our front playground, back parking lot, and at the church. PTO will have their auction in the cafeteria. Hope to see everyone tonight! There will be no parking in the carline area or on Walker Road.

Fall Fest at Choudrant Elementary is almost here! This Thursday, 5:00-7:00 pm. Don't forget to buy your tickets ahead of time to avoid waiting in line. Third grade teachers are having a cake walk at the Fall Festival next Thursday. If you would like to sign up to bring a sweet treat for the cake walk, please click on the link below. It's Fall Festival Ticket Presale Week. If you would like to avoid the long lines on the night of the event, you can come to school to purchase tickets between 9-2 starting this week. All ticket sales are final. The cost of the tickets are $1 a piece. Most booths are 1 ticket. There may be one or two that take more. Fall Festival Nov. 16 5:00-7:00pm

We are excited to host our Parent Technology Night again this Monday, November 6. Students will receive an incentive of either a free one day homework pass or three super tickets (their choice) if his or her parent attends. Only parents/guardians need to attend. All girls that participated in this week's cheer mini clinic be at CHS new gym at 5:45 for their performance. They are asking that the girls wear their pink mini-clinic tshirt.
