New students to our school district must receive an enrollment form from Central Office before coming to RJHS to register. The following documents are required for enrollment: child's birth certificate, shot record, social security card, and proof of residence. For more information call 255-1450.

Registration forms have been sent home with students presently attending RJHS. Students from I.A. Lewis received registration forms for next school year April 24th. Forms should have been returned by April 28th.

The form is to be signed by the parent. The parent signature is the agreement between the parent, the student, and the counselor that by signing this agreement your child will not request a schedule change once he or she is placed in pre-assigned electives. Students who do not complete the registration form completely will have their electives selected for them for next year.

NOTE:
The 8th grade counselor, Michelle Marsh, requests that students sign on the registration form for classes that all eighth graders can take as an elective. Students will be allowed to sign up for all other electives that require certain criteria or teacher approval, but to ensure that students have the opportunity to receive his or her choice of electives only the electives that all 8th graders can take should appear on the registration form.

After a teacher has approved a student for his or her class, the student will be given a new registration form. The new form will reflect the new elective selection and will also require a parent signature.

Students are asked to sign up for all pre-approved classes in the counselor’s office. Questions concerning registration for next year can be answered by Peggy Fallin (7th grade parents) or Michelle March (8th grade parents) by calling the school office at 251-1601 before June 12, 2009. The school office will reopen August 3, 2009 for registration.
